Daycare at Price Dog Training and Boarding is intentionally kept small, giving each dog plenty of individual attention, exercise, enrichment, and structure throughout their day.
Every dog is different, so activities are tailored to your dog’s personality, energy level, training, and individual needs. Depending on the dog and the day, activities may include hikes or bike rides in the woods, neighborhood walks, fetch or tug, swimming, outdoor play, treadmill exercise, and mental enrichment games.
Good manners are reinforced throughout the day, too. Dogs are held to expectations appropriate for their individual level of training, with everyday skills such as calm behavior, leash manners, waiting at doors, recall, and other basic manners incorporated naturally into their day.
The goal is for your dog to go home happy, fulfilled, and ready to relax after a day designed around their individual needs.
Before attending daycare, a complimentary 30-minute meet and greet is required so Paige can get to know you and your dog and observe their behavior.
Dogs must be comfortable settling in a crate. For the safety of your dog, other dogs, and the home, dogs are crated when they cannot be directly supervised.
Dogs must be current on Rabies, Bordetella, and DHPP vaccinations. Vaccination records must be uploaded to your Gingr profile before attending daycare.
Dogs attending daycare must be safe and comfortable around other dogs. They do not need to be extremely social or interested in playing with every dog, but they must be able to safely coexist with other dogs in a shared environment.
Your dog doesn't have to be a social butterfly, but they must be able to establish a relationship with Paige within a reasonable amount of time so they can be safely handled and cared for throughout the day.
