Living with a dog who is difficult to control can be frustrating. Pulling on the leash, ignoring commands, jumping on guests, running off, or simply not listening can make everyday life with your dog harder than it needs to be. And sometimes, those behaviors can keep you from fully enjoying your dog and including them in the things you love to do.
And that’s okay—you’re not a dog trainer. You shouldn’t be expected to know exactly how to solve every behavior problem on your own.
Paige has worked with dogs of all breeds, ages, sizes, personalities, and a wide variety of behavioral challenges. Rather than relying on one method for every dog, she draws from a toolbox of training techniques and approaches to find what works for you and your dog.
That’s where Price Dog Training and Boarding comes in. The goal isn’t simply to make your dog “behave”—it’s to give you better communication, more confidence, and a dog you can enjoy more of life with.

Your dog will learn through real-life experiences- not just structured training sessions. Training is incorporated into everyday life, outings, play, downtime, and the situations where you actually need your dog to listen.

Puppy Board & Train focuses on building a strong foundation early. Depending on your puppy's age and needs, training may include leash skills, heel, place/bed, crate training, potty-training routines, calmness in the home, appropriate behavior in public, cooperative care for grooming and vet visits, basic manners, and more.

Minimum 2-Week Stay
All dogs 6 months and older require a minimum two-week Board & Train. Training begins by teaching and strengthening behaviors using positive reinforcement, including food, toys, play, and verbal praise based on what motivates your dog. As your dog progresses, training moves into real-world environments where behaviors are proofed around distractions and e-collar reinforcement is introduced when appropriate.
Aggression
Aggression
Dogs with severe human or dog aggression cannot be accepted at this time. Your dog must be able to safely build a relationship with Paige within a reasonable amount of time. Please openly disclose any history of aggression, biting, or concerning behavior before booking so Paige can determine whether the program is appropriate for your dog.
Vaccinations
Vaccinations
Dogs must be current on Rabies, Bordetella, and DHPP vaccinations. Spaying or neutering is not required.
Meet & Greet + Trial Daycare
Meet & Greet + Trial Daycare
Before Board & Train, a complimentary 30-minute meet and greet is required so Paige can get to know you and your dog and observe their behavior. At least a half-day of daycare is also required so your dog can become familiar with Paige, the home environment, and the routine before an extended stay.
Crate Comfort
Crate Comfort
Dogs should have some prior crate experience and be reasonably comfortable settling in a crate before Board & Train. Crate training can be worked on during the program, but having a foundation beforehand helps reduce unnecessary stress during your dog's stay.
Household Participation
Household Participation
Board & Train gives your dog a strong foundation, but long-term success depends on consistency at home. Everyone who regularly handles your dog should be willing to follow the training and expectations you'll learn during your private sessions.
Multiple Dogs from the Same Household
Multiple Dogs from the Same Household
When two or more dogs from the same household attend Board & Train together, a minimum three-week program is typically required.
Dogs are first trained individually before gradually working together. This allows each dog to develop their own skills and reliability before learning to maintain those behaviors when working together and around one another.

For dogs 6 months and older, the E-T 300 ½ Mile Mini Educator E-Collar is not included and must be purchased separately. Additional training equipment such as a slip lead, martingale collar, or prong collar may be needed depending on your dog. A purchase link can be found on the Helpful Links page.

Please provide enough of your dog's regular food and any medications for their entire stay, plus a little extra.

There is no need to bring bowls, treats, toys, or bedding. If this is your dog's first extended stay away from home, you may bring a blanket from home as long as your dog will not shred or consume it.

Paige has experience with a variety of training tools and approaches and chooses what is appropriate based on the individual dog and owner. The goal is clear communication, reliable behavior, and training that works in real life.
More reliability can mean more freedom. Reliable off-leash training can open the door to more adventures, enrichment, and opportunities to enjoy life together. When appropriate, modern e-collar training may be one tool used to help build that reliability.
